UCCF takes seriously the issue of safeguarding and is committed to taking reasonable steps to protect:
from all forms of abuse, including physical, emotional, sexual, and spiritual harm.
Our safeguarding policy outlines the procedures in place for promoting safeguarding; preventing abuse; and protecting all parties outlined above. This includes clear procedures for reporting and recording any safeguarding concerns or incidences.
Our trustees, directors, executive leadership and all staff and volunteers have responsibilities for preventing abuse and for safeguarding.
We have a staff team that is responsible for the day-to-day handling of safeguarding matters. The team consists of Designated Safeguarding Officers who respond to safeguarding concerns and a Designated Safeguarding Administrator who is responsible for recording safeguarding concerns.
Designated Safeguarding Officers: Esther Dickson, JP Sivertsen-Wright
Designated Safeguarding Administrator: Alison Bush
If you have any concerns or questions about safeguarding, please contact the team via safeguarding@uccf.org.uk.
Trustees: Our lead trustee for safeguarding is James MacKenzie. James can be contacted via safeguardingtrustees@uccf.org.uk.
