Relay Worker in our Central region.
Gisko is doing Relay in Colchester, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Essex.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Hi! I’m Gizzy and I’m thrilled to be doing Relay in the University of Essex this year.
University is a fun, frightening, and frustrating time for most students, but I think it is a crucial season in their life to figure out faith. That is why I am excited to being committed in a full-time ministry role and help out the students in Essex to share the soul-saving news of the Gospel and become ambassadors of Jesus on campus. I’m also excited to see how God can grow me and use this time to prepare me for whatever ministry He calls me to ahead. As a Relay worker, I will be discipled by a Staff worker, go through a Theology study programme, and support the CU’s operation in reaching out with the Gospel on campus.
Since Relay is a volunteering programme, I will be relying on the generosity of others. I’m hoping to raise £13,000, which would all contribute to my ministry expenses and living costs. My heart seeks revival and God’s glory throughout the year, and if you want to consider partnering with me financially and/or through prayer, do check the links below. I’m grateful for your support and if you have any questions, please reach out as I’d love to get in touch!
