Relay Worker in our South West region.
Elliot is doing Relay in Bath, supporting the Christian Union in the University of Bath.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

After spending three years at the University of Bath studying Economics, I'm staying on another year to work alongside the university's Christian Union as a Relay Worker. I'm really excited to spend a year investing in my relationship with God and supporting the work the Christian Union does in giving students an opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus!

Pray for Elliot
Prayer is a vital part of supporting Elliot’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Elliot:
- Please pray that as I deepen my relationship with God my love for him and those around me would grow.
- Pray for conversations with students led by the Holy Spirit, full of grace, love and truth.
- Pray that the students that are part of the Christian Union would be excited about their faith and that God work powerfully in and through their lives.
Partner with Elliot
It costs on average £8,000–12,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.
Having a team of people who partner financially and in prayer with Relay Workers means that they can:
- Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
- Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
