The UCCF office team in Blue Boar House, Oxford city centre, are committed to resourcing and promoting the work of UCCF. Integrity and stewardship are priorities for how we work towards the vision of giving every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We provide central functions for our national movement with teams responsible for finance, development and communications, logistics, facilities and personnel. On a daily basis, we provide sound financial management, publicise CU news, ensure staff are well-supported, produce evangelistic resources for students, send and receive equipment for events, and support the vision and direction of UCCF leadership.
The urgency to creatively, engagingly and prayerfully proclaim Christ crucified in the student world shapes our teamwork. Each team has a department head who oversees the staff responsible for their area of work to ensure best working practice and maximum strategic impact by students on campus with projects like Uncover.
We meet together regularly to read the Bible, undergirding our work in prayer, and sharing news to be better equipped. Staff development is encouraged through our annual training conference as well as office-specific training days. Forum, our five-day conference in September is the best opportunity for the whole Fellowship – field and office staff, Relay and other volunteers, student CU leaders, and supporters – to work together each year.
We share the building with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) of whom UCCF are the British member movement. This provides regular opportunities to benefit student ministry in Britain and around the world. Blue Boar House also has meeting rooms for hire which local CUs use for both outreach and discipleship events.
