Would you like experience managing a venue at Forum? We require confident individuals to fill this role which will include overseeing a group of stewards, carrying out venue checks and recording numbers of delegates. Venues vary in size, from our 1200 seater main arena to our small 40-50 seater on site venues, so there's a venue size for everyone. You'll also make sure any resources required for sessions are ready and available in the venue and ensure the safety of delegates using your venue. You will report to the volunteer manager and feedback any questions or queries from the stewards in your venue. Alongside the regular application process, applicants for this role will also be interviewed by our site manager and production manager. This is a great role if you'd like experience in events or managing others.
We could not make Forum happen without stewards! Part of a large team, you will help steward our venues, including the main meetings, teaching tracks, and After Hours events, providing a friendly welcome and keeping delegates safe. You will help set up facilities for meetings and provide day-time site security through patrolling the site. You will also assist in keeping the site clean and help with welcoming people on to site throughout the event. There's lots of different jobs for stewards so you'll never be bored! If you like problem solving and love working in a team, this is the role for you.
The tech team has a pivotal role at forum, to ensure that all of our attendees can hear and see what they need to, aiding the teaching and ministry going on in each of our venues. Our venues range from the big 1200 seater main arena to the after hours stage and many breakout rooms. There’s lots to get stuck in to! As part of your role, you’ll be helping set up our main arena space, getting to grips with the larger scale of the production, have a role as part of our main meetings and helping with smaller breakout venue throughout the week. The key part of being in the tech team is that we want it to be an opportunity for you to learn alongside serving. We’d like to be able to offer you opportunities to try something that you’ve not done before during the week, hopefully increasing your knowledge and gaining experience. What we’re looking for in our tech volunteers is experience working with basic audio and AV in any setting including church gatherings, individuals with ProPresenter experience, as well as individuals with experience working at larger scale events with an audio focus. Let us know what experience you have in your application form.

You'll be a vital part of serving everyone on site and keeping our teams going through helping prep aIl the different meals throughout the week.
